Tori van der Donk is the founding Partner of Aegis Business Services, and is a Registered Tax Agent, and Chartered Accountant with many years of bookkeeping, tax and accounting experience. Tori is passionate about business and particularly the accounting industry. She is very active in industry groups, including as a member of the Xero Partner Advisory Council (XPAC) from 2018 to 2023. In 2020 she was named one of the Top 50 Women in Accounting and in recent years her firm has won Best Professional Services Business and the Women in Business award at her local Chamber of Commerce. Tori is an active member of business networking groups and is often in the top 10 members in her region. Clients love Tori’s layman’s terms approach to explaining difficult topics and therefore are not afraid to ask “dumb questions”. She has experience working with a variety of businesses and even worked in many industries, such as civil engineering, hospitality, childcare, media, sales, construction, and retail. In a previous life, Tori has owned a café, a car cleaning business and has taught craft classes. She has owned businesses as a sole trader, trust, unit trust, partnership and company which has given her hands on experience on a broad range of structures. In her spare time, Tori loves to escape for a solo camping trip even though she is happily married, mum to two adult children, new Nanna to her first grandchild, and is a member of an award winning all-female a Cappella choir, Redland Rhapsody Chorus, who are the current national champions after winning at the Sweet Adelines Region 34 Convention in Freemantle in May 2024. Tori and the rest of Redland Rhapsody Chorus will be travelling to Ohio in late 2025 to compete at the international "Harmony Classic" competition.
